If Nigeria Govt Will Not Address This Genocide We’ll Address It—US Lawmaker On On Palm Sunday Attack

In a recent statement via his official X account, a United States Congressman, Riley M. Moore has stated that the violence in Nigeria shows a serious failure to protect innocent people.

‎”On Palm Sunday, in two brazen attacks at least 53 Christians were murdered by Islamic radical terrorists in Nigeria. President Trump has been very clear that if the Nigerian government will not address this genocide, we will address it for them. The persecution and slaughter of our brothers and sisters in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ must end now,” he wrote.

‎In his post, Moore pointed to reports of deadly Palm Sunday attacks and stressed that Christians were specifically targeted and described the situation as unacceptable and said the world cannot ignore what is happening.

‎He explained that more than 50 Christians were killed in what he believes were coordinated attacks by extremist groups and stated that these killings happened during an important religious event, which made the tragedy even more disturbing, he called the attacks brutal and said they reflect a growing pattern of persecution.

‎Moore stated that the Nigerian government must take stronger action to stop the violence and argued that leaders in the country have not done enough to prevent these killings, he warned that if the situation continues, it could lead to further instability and suffering for local communities.

‎He referenced comments from Donald Trump, saying there should be consequences if the Nigerian government fails to act and suggested that outside help could be considered if necessary, he made it clear that protecting innocent lives should be a priority for all nations.
