Drama unfolded in a household after an older woman, identified as an aunty-in-law, reportedly stormed into her nephew’s home and confronted his wife over an alleged refusal to greet her.
In a video making rounds online, the older woman is seen entering the living room where the younger woman was seated on a couch using her phone.
Immediately after entering, the aunt began questioning the younger woman about why she did not greet her.
The situation quickly escalated as the older woman repeatedly demanded an explanation while standing over the younger woman.
“Who are you in this house?” the older woman asked several times during the confrontation. She also repeatedly questioned the younger woman, saying, “Why didn’t you greet me?”

As the argument continued, the video showed the aunt touching, pulling and slapping at the younger woman while continuing to question her.
Despite the tense moment, the younger woman appeared relatively calm and could be heard responding respectfully during the exchange.
At several points in the video, her husband repeatedly said, “Thank you ma,” while the confrontation continued. The situation appeared tense as the aunt continued demanding answers about the greeting.

During the confrontation, the nephew could also be heard speaking in the background. At one point, he asked his wife a question regarding how she would respond if her own mother walked into the house.
“If your mother comes in, won’t you greet her?” The video has since sparked conversations online about respect for elders, family boundaries and how disagreements within families should be handled.
