The woman allegedly murdered with a hammer in Seshego has been identified as Raisibe Mohaya, whose death has shocked the local community.
Mohaya allegedly succumbed to injuries after she was attacked with a hammer by her partner at their home in Kwena Moloto near Seshego. The gruesome discovery was made by her 19-year-old son when he returned from school and found her lifeless body inside the house.
According to family accounts, Mohaya was a mother of four children aged 19, 14, 10, and 6. Community members have expressed deep sadness, describing her as a devoted parent who was committed to caring for her children.
Police confirmed that the suspect, who was Mohaya’s boyfriend, later surrendered himself to authorities. The man is expected to appear before the Seshego Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 27 February, facing murder charges.
