Ibrahim Chatta reportedly charges ₦5 Million per day, tops Nollywood pay chart

Veteran Yoruba actor, Ibrahim Chatta is making headlines after reports surfaced that he earns a staggering ₦5 million per day, making him one of the highest-paid actors in Nollywood.

The revelation came from veteran actor Mustapha Bakare Otolo, popularly known as Baba Oloto, who disclosed in a recent interview that Chatta’s pay rate has set a new standard in the Nigerian film industry.

According to Baba Oloto in a video shared by wahalanetwork, Ibrahim Chatta’s exceptional talent, discipline, and consistency have made him one of the most sought-after stars in Yoruba cinema.

He noted that while some veteran actors still earn as little as ₦250,000 per scene, Chatta’s value continues to rise thanks to his outstanding performances and strong fan base.

The claim quickly sparked massive reactions online, with many Nigerians praising Chatta’s hard work and dedication. One fan wrote, “He deserves every kobo, Chatta never disappoints on screen.” Another joked, “₦5 million per role? Nollywood don turn oil field o!”

Others, however, questioned how producers can sustain such high fees amid the industry’s rising production costs.
