Notably, Comfort Emmanson has been in the headlines over a viral video showing her physically assaulting Ibom Air flight staff.
In a recent tweet on X (formely Twitter), Festus Keyamo condemned the release of a video showing indecent exposure of Emmanson during the incident and directed that whoever released the video be identified and sanctioned.
According to Keyamo, Emmanson has been banned indefinitely from flying by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), charged to court, and remanded in Kirikiri Prison for failing to provide adequate sureties.
Furthermore, Keyamo directed airlines to intensify staff training on handling volatile situations and announced a joint security meeting with relevant agencies to improve coordination in aviation security.
