Delta North Senator Ned Nwoko has stated that he will not be reconciled with his estranged wife, the actress Regina Daniels.
He denied having any contact with her but insisted that she must undergo therapy.
In a detailed statement posted on Instagram on Tuesday, the lawmaker included screenshots of a WhatsApp message, which he described as his final communication with her.
He provided a timeline of events, claiming that Regina has been entirely under the influence of hard drugs, which he said led to a series of violent and irrational incidents.
According to the senator, he published the WhatsApp message from 17th October to clarify the situation and demonstrate the ultimatum he had given concerning her rehabilitation.
“Senator Ned Nwoko is not in contact with Regina and does not want her back in the house. All he is insisting on is that she should be encouraged to go to therapy,” the statement read.
It further stated that Regina’s allegations of drug use and sexual misconduct are a “figment of her imagination” and could never be substantiated.
