Edidiong Etukodo, the daughter-in-law of late renowned Nigerian clergyman, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, has broken silence on his demise.
It would be recalled that the clergyman’s passing was announced via a statement released to his Instagram account on October 6, 2025.

She stated that he left a good legacy and would miss him greatly.

Frank Edwards Reacts To Uma Ukpai’s Demise
It’s worth noting that the death of Uma Ukpai has been met with condolences and tributes from prominent entertainment personalities and dignitaries, including renowned Nigerian Gospel singer, Frank Edwards.
In a recent instagram post, Frank Edwards revealed he battled pneumonia and asthma at age 8 but was healed after a crusade held by the clergyman in Enugu.
He wrote,“At age 8 I got healed of asthma and pneumonia in one of your crusades in Enugu!! Thank you for impacting the world in a special way !! YOU FINISHED WELL PAPA REST ON 🤍🙏🙏🙏” .
