A Nigerian man has stirred reactions online after a video surfaced showing him confronting his mother over her political support amid rising insecurity in the country.
In the clip circulating on social media, the man, visibly emotional, questioned his mother’s continued support for the ruling party despite reports of violence in parts of the country, particularly in Jos.
He expressed frustration over the situation and accused the government of inaction.
It would be recalled that on Sunday, March 29th Angwan Rukuba area of Jos North had been attacked by unknown gunmen, leaving scores of people dead.
Further unrest in the city had been sparked by the first incident.
The young man said:
“Hello, mummy ekaaro. Can you hear what is happening in Jos? Bandits massacred people there and insecurity is festering. Tinubu does nothing. You still went ahead to campaign for him and the APC. I will disown you as my mother…”

You support APC just forget me either as your son, brother or sibling.
If we don’t become ruthless some of this people don’t care to suffer forever because of tribalism and religion”
@GreatnessIsSure remarked: “This is a sad thing for a child to say his mum.
Lets be frank if her son was that promise young lad his mother was holding, wishing he wasnt dead am very sure she will genuinely not support Tinubu anymore.
Until it happens to all this selfish and mad APC supporters then they will understand it.”
@SirEmilyjr wrote: “I could hear a baby murmuring in the background, this is not a joke, and this is not about his mom, probably just him fighting for the well being of his own child.
See this is exactly my fear regarding this country as well.”
