A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to recount her experience after claiming she was arrested at a beach in Lagos at night and asked to pay N300,000.

According to her account, she was handcuffed during the incident and told to provide the money. She said she contacted several friends and even tried to obtain a loan, but none of them sent her money.
The lady explained that her mother was the only person who came to her aid, sending her N20,000.

She did not clarify whether the people who arrested her were police officers or members of another security team.
Recounting the incident in an emotional video, she said:
“They comes and drop me in VI, i went to the beach and they arrested me they handcuffed me I videoed it but the video did not save and they told me to bring 300k and they dropped me me in VI (Victoria Island) they said I should give them 300k I even borrowed loan, i called all my friends none of them sent me money it was only my mom it is only my mom that sent me money, It is well”
