A young Nigerian man who studied law for 8 years at Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) has opened up about being denied his certificate by the institution.
The man, who identified himself as Adewale, disclosed this in an interview video posted on the TikTok handle, @yomi.

Details Of The Interview
According to Adewale, the issue started after the school changed its payment system while he was in 300 level, leading numerous students to leave the institution.
During the interview, Adewale shared that in his first year, the state university was on strike, and his batch was merged.
”I spent 8 years and the school refused to give me my certificate. I studied law. First of all, in the first year, we didn’t even do anything, we were just on strike. Then they merged us with another set and we started from there“, He stated.
Speaking further, Adewale shared that the previous payment system allowed students to pay 60 percent of the school fees, which vanished after a new payment system was introduced.
According to him, he’s been dealing with the issue for five years, made several attempts which proved futile, and took a leave of absence twice during his study at the institution.
Speaking about his occupation, Adewale disclosed that he was into breeding before gaining admission to the university, which he’s still pursuing.
”Before I got into school, I was a breeder. That’s what I do. If I had gotten my certificate , I would have practiced law. I’m very radical and my thinking is also logical as well”, He said.
