A young Nigerian man has taken creativity and determination to a whole new level after renting a massive billboard in Victoria Island, Lagos, all in a bid to get the attention of renowned music producer, Don Jazzy.
In a viral video shared by @ChukEric on X (formerly Twitter), the billboard spotted gained attention for its bold, yet polite message addressed directly to Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy. It read:
“Hello DON JAZZY, I sent a DM. I would appreciate if you could check it out. Thank you!”
To make sure the message couldn’t be missed, the man included his photo beside Don Jazzy’s along with his social media handle, ensuring that the music mogul could easily find him online.
The unusual move has set social media abuzz. While many Nigerians applauded his creativity, confidence, and hunger for opportunity, others argued he might have gone a little too far just to get noticed.
Known for his generosity and support for emerging talents, Don Jazzy is yet to respond to the viral stunt.
