“I refused to marry my fiancé because he declined to give me ₦500k till after marriage” – Lady shares reason why she dumped her fiancé

A lady has narrated how she refused to marry her fiancé because he declined to give her ₦500,000 to invest in her business.

In a viral video on social media, she explained that her business was doing well at the beginning, but she needed additional funds to expand.

At that point, she did not want to bother her parents or friends, so she chose to ask her fiancé for financial assistance. However, the response she received was unexpected.

She revealed that her initial capital was ₦3 million, but she needed to purchase equipment worth ₦4 million, which was why she requested ₦500,000 from her fiancé. According to her, when she made the request, he told her he would give her the money after their wedding.

The lady added that the man had never given her any financial support for her business before, which made her doubt his promise.

Justifying her decision to call off the marriage, she explained that since he had not supported her business during their courtship, it meant that if she eventually married him, he would not provide financial help because he had already secured her.

The video has since triggered numerous reactions, with netizens sharing mixed opinions on the matter.

“It’s a win win situation for the two of you. The man is safe because you did not dupe him and refuse marriage, you are safe because you found another mumu..”
