Renowned cleric and General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, has praised Nigeria, saying that despite its challenges, Nigerians remain among the happiest people on Earth.
In a Sunday sermon, Pastor Adeboye reflected on his global travels, saying he has visited countries from where the sun rises to where it sets. Yet, despite seeing many nations, he acknowledges that Nigeria is a unique and special country. He recounted:
“I have traveled throughout the whole world, from where the sun rises to where it sets, and I can boldly say that there is no nation like Nigeria. Yes, we have our own problems, but no matter what, Nigerians always find a way to make themselves happy.”
The pastor highlighted the resilience, laughter, and joy of Nigerians. According to him, even amid economic difficulties, insecurity, and other societal challenges, Nigerians never lose their spirit.
Pastor Adeboye’s words serve as a reminder that true happiness isn’t the absence of problems but the ability to smile despite them. His praise celebrates the resilience and unshakable spirit that make Nigeria truly one of a kind.
