A Nigerian actress, Olaide Oyedeji, says her childhood felt like that of many other people until life pushed her into adulthood faster than she expected. She explains that she was born and raised in Nigeria and later moved to Germany at a very young age.
She recalls becoming pregnant soon after relocating and having to stop being a child or teenager to face adult responsibilities alone in a foreign country. Olaide says the transition was tough but that she was raised with love, and the grace of God helped her navigate the challenges.
In Olaide Oyedeji’s words:
“Well, growing up for me is more like growing up for every other person. I grew up in Nigeria, moved to Germany at a very young age… So I moved to Germany at a very young age. Got pregnant at a very young age. So I had to start facing life at a very young age. I have to stop being a child or a teenager. I have to move into the shoes of being an adult… which was a little tough, but I thank God the grace of God was sufficient.”See_More…
