Influencer, Ashmusy denies promising to teach people how to make N100M in 10 days after she was called out by the social media activist, Verydarkman.
Earlier, Verydarkman had drawn attention to the recent flyer that was shared by the influencer about teaching people how to make money off social media.
For a cost of N36,750 only, the flyer had promised to teach people how to supposedly make 100 million in 10 days.
Verydarkman opined that the scheme was nothing short of fraud, and Ashmusy was aiming at exploiting her followers.
Ashmusy’s response
In reaction, Ashmusy clarified that she hadn’t said ‘make 100 million in 10 days’. According to her it was simply a ‘headline’ meant to attract.
She noted that in the very next line on the flyer, she wrote out the businesses the participants would learn to earn money on social media.
The influencer admitted that the mistake was from her part, and that rather than state a figure, she would have written ‘money’ instead of ‘N100 million’.
She said in part …
“I never said ‘Make 100 million Naira in 10 days’ How could I say that? I don’t own any Ponzi scheme or any – I don’t understand. On my flyer what you are going to see is make over 100 million on social media with Ashmusy Social Media Money Blueprint. Then in the next line it said in 10 days you’re going to learn hair care making, skincare making, different kind of businessess that you can now work with and make money on social media. That particular write-up was like a headline…”
