How I Replied After A Man Said Nigeria Government Always Support The Every Saturday Feeding-Johnson Suleman

In a recent video on YouTube, Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries International, Johnson Suleman, has declared that giving to God without expecting anything in return is the clearest evidence of true love for God.

Speaking during a recent sermon, Suleman cautioned believers against treating God as a business partner, warning that giving with an expectation of material returns reflects a misunderstanding of genuine Christian service.

“All this giving you are giving and you are still saying, ‘I’ve given, I’ve given, I’ve not seen anything,’ you are not a lover of God,” Suleman said.

According to him, authentic love for God removes the mindset of profit and reward, replacing it with selfless devotion.

“If you are truly giving, you don’t expect returns. God is not your business partner. We give to Him because we love Him. We don’t expect returns,” he stated.

The cleric stressed that service and generosity must be motivated by love, not by what one hopes to gain in return, urging Christians to examine the intentions behind their sacrifices.

“Am I talking to somebody?” he asked rhetorically, as he challenged worshippers to rethink their understanding of giving.

Suleman went on to share a personal experience to illustrate his message, recounting an interaction with someone who expressed surprise at his consistent charitable efforts.

“Someone said to me, ‘You have been feeding people,’” he recalled. “I said, ‘Hello.’ I said, ‘Three years.’”

According to the pastor, the individual was shocked to learn that the feeding outreach had been ongoing for years, not as a one-off event.

“I was shocked. Three years. What are you saying? You do this every once a year. I said, ‘No, every Saturday,’” Suleman narrated.

He added that the surprise increased when the person asked if the government supported the initiative.

“They said the government sends you some support. I said, ‘No, privately. I do it on my own,’” he said.

Suleman explained that his motivation was not praise or recognition but a desire to express love in practical ways, adding that he was not even satisfied with the current level of outreach.

“I’m not even happy that it’s once a week. I’m trying to see,” he said, suggesting plans to do more.

The pastor noted that genuine love for God produces consistency and joy in service, rather than discouragement or complaint.

“There are some of us, little things discourage us,” he added, urging believers to remain committed to God’s work regardless of challenges.

Suleman concluded by emphasizing that true giving flows naturally from love for God, insisting that when love is the foundation, service becomes joyful, sacrificial, and enduring.See_More…
