Man falls on the ground dejected and confused after his girlfriend rejected his marriage proposal in public.
The video was spotted circulating on the video-sharing platform, TikTok.
In the viral video, the young man had gone down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend at an event.
They had taken the stage, with crowd of people watching them, and a band playing soothing music for the occasion.
He makes the proposal
Going down on one knee and presenting the ring, the lady who wasn’t on the same page with him, turned his request down.
The man, confused and in disbelief, maintained the position.
Girlfriend runs away
After turning down his proposal, the girl hurriedly run off the stage, making the man fall on the ground in dejection.
The crowd of people who had gathered to witness the proposal were in mixed spirits, as some laughed while others expressed dismay over the rejection.
Someone was seen encouraging the man and trying to pull him off the ground following the whole fiasco.
