“He flogged hell out of me”- Classmate of Lieutenant Yamari who clashed with Wike shares

A former classmate of Lieutenant Yamari, who recently clashed with FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, has taken to social media to reveal how he behaved during their time in secondary school.

‎The classmate identified by the Facebook handle, Olaniyi Festus Ayoola, shared that they were secondary‑school mates at Victory Comprehensive College in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

‎According to Olaniyi Festus Ayoola’s post, Lieutenant Yamari left the school in JSS 2 to take part in the Junior West African Examination Council exam.

‎In the post that has left social media buzzing, Lieutenant Yamari was  disciplinarian.

‎Furthermore, Olaniyi Festus Ayoola shared how Lieutenant Yamari flogged him after their English teacher and the MD on duty insisted he should be flogged by the viral naval officer.

‎It’s worth noting that Lieutenant Yamari has been on the headlines after his heated clash with Nyesom Wike.

‎The incident occured on on November 11, 2025 in Abuja.

The lawyer, Ahmed Yerima Ahmed shared details of the encounter in a Facebook post .

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Yamari escaped alleged assassination in Abuja days after his clash with with Nyesom Wike.

According to unconfirmed reports, he was trailed by two unmarked Hilux vans and used a ‘strategic maneuver’ to shake them off around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
