Haley Says Any New Iran Deal Must Open Military Sites — No More Blind Spots Like Obama

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has weighed in on the possibility of renewed nuclear negotiations with Iran, insisting that any future agreement must include unfettered access to military installations and research institutions.

In a statement shared on her verified social media account, Haley said that if Donald Trump pursues another deal with Tehran, it cannot replicate what she described as the shortcomings of the 2015 accord negotiated under Barack Obama.

According to her, the earlier agreement failed to grant inspectors sufficient access to sensitive military sites and research universities, creating what she called “massive blind spots.”

Haley argued that without comprehensive inspection mechanisms, Iran could potentially continue aspects of its nuclear development beyond the reach of international monitors.

She maintained that transparency must extend beyond declared nuclear facilities to include locations where weapons-related research might occur.

Her comments come amid renewed diplomatic efforts aimed at curbing Iran’s nuclear activities. While Tehran insists its programme is strictly for civilian purposes, Western governments remain concerned about possible military dimensions.

The debate over verification and compliance has been central to discussions surrounding any potential revival or replacement of the earlier nuclear framework.See_More…
