A lady has stirred widespread reactions on social media after claiming that great men do not engage in house chores.
In a viral video on X (formerly Twitter), the lady explained that before marriage, she believed her husband would help with washing, cooking, going to the market, and other domestic tasks. However, she said she eventually had to accept two hard truths.
According to her, one truth is that those things are not her husband’s strengths, and secondly, a man with an incredible vision in life would not always have time for such activities.
She went on to say that if her husband were a man operating on a global level, it would be unrealistic to expect him to still come home and do house chores.
She added that although a man must prioritise his family, both husband and wife need to make adjustments for the betterment of their home.

“The least he can do is assist, would he sit in his living room and everywhere is dusty and wouldn’t be moved to take a duster and tidy things up because he has a wife? Would he abandon his clothes to his wife, because he is now married? Someone needs to really start talking.”
