Former Ogun State Governor and Senator Gbenga Daniel has dismissed reports alleging that Senate President Godswill Akpabio has been hospitalized in London.
The Senator, who recently visited Akpabio in the UK, confirmed that the Senate President is very much hale and hearty.
Gbenga Daniel paid Godswill Akpabio a visit to catch up on recent developments within Nigeria’s political landscape, and to formally brief him on his planned return to Nigeria.
During the visit, he said, “The news out there is that you have been indisposed, but seeing you here now, paints a very different picture. Congratulations your Excellency.”
Reacting, Akpabio appreciated Daniel for stopping by and refuted the false reports about his health.
“If you listen to the social media, you will go to war,” he added.
This confirms that the reports circulating on social media about the APC politician being hospitalised are baseless and misleading.
