Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has appealed for public support as she seeks to raise N30 million for urgent life-saving surgeries.
The actress, best known for her role in the popular television sitcom Fuji House of Commotion, made the appeal in an emotional video shared on her Instagram page on Thursday.
Ngozi Nwosu revealed that she has been hospitalised for the past three weeks but did not disclose the nature of the illness requiring the surgeries.

Describing the appeal as a difficult decision, the actress said she could no longer remain silent about her condition.
“My fans, friends, family and colleagues, this was really hard for me to do, but I can’t keep quiet any more. I need urgent life-saving surgeries,” she said.
She called on fans, colleagues and members of the public to support her financially and help spread her appeal to reach more people.
“Please don’t scroll past. Share this post and support if you can. God bless you and may you and yours never experience this affliction,” she pleaded.
Nwosu, one of Nigeria’s most celebrated actresses, has enjoyed a career spanning several decades, earning widespread recognition for her performances in television and film, particularly her role as Peaceful Peace in Fuji House of Commotion.
Her appeal has since drawn reactions from fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry, many of whom have expressed sympathy and called for support to help her raise the N30 million needed for the surgeries.
