A fresh update about the late Arise TV news anchor and presenter, Somtochukwu Maduagwu, has emerged online.
As previously reported by GistReel, Somtochukwu Maduagwu tragically passed away on September 29, 2025, following an armed robbery incident at her apartment in Katampe, Abuja.
The heartbreaking incident was announced via a statement on Arise TV News official X account.

According to a recent post from Charlie Of Umana on X (formerly Twitter), Somtochukwu Maduagwu was set to tie the knot and celebrate her 30th birthday in two months time.
Charlie Of Umana stated that Somtochukwu Maduagwu’s cousin stated the armed robbery occurred in her compound.
However, she fell off a three-story building, leaving her unconscious..
Meanwhile, security operatives have launched an Investigation into the tragic demise of Somtochukwu Maduagwu.
The FCT Police Command has commenced a discreet investigation into the incident and is working to identify, track, and apprehend the culprits.

Hospital.She was supposed to get married in two months time.She was supposed to clock 30 in 2 months time. This is just unbearable.
According to her cousin, there was an armed Robbery in her compound , she fell of the 3 story building and was unconscious.
The police got to the scene,They pleaded with the police to take her to the hospital but their response was“THEY HAD NO Fuel.She died upon arrival at hospital”.
