FG Releases Shortlist for Immigration and Civil Defence Jobs

The Federal Government has released the list of shortlisted candidates for recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).

The announcement was made by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) on behalf of the government.

According to a statement signed by the Board’s Secretary, Maj. Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril (Rtd.), applicants are advised to visit the official recruitment portal — https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng — from Thursday, October 30, 2025, to confirm their shortlisting status and check the centres for the Computer-Based Test (CBT).

The statement also urged all shortlisted candidates to take note of the date, venue, and time of their CBT as indicated on the portal.

Jibril warned applicants against dealing with fraudsters or unofficial sources, emphasizing that all authentic information regarding the recruitment exercise will only be published on the CDCFIB’s official website.

The ongoing recruitment exercise covers four major paramilitary agencies under the supervision of the Board — the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
