The Federal Government is continuing ATM card distribution under the Household Prosperity and Empowerment (HOPE) Cash Transfer Programme.
The National Cash Transfer Office (NCTO), under the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, confirmed that beneficiaries are scheduled to receive ₦25,000 monthly for three months, totalling ₦75,000 per household, to help meet essential needs.
States and local government areas (LGAs) are organising card collection as it is ongoing. Beneficiaries should check official announcements for their area because dates, venues and instructions may differ.
In Lagos State, a notice for Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA) says cards are ready for beneficiaries on its published list. Collection is scheduled for Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 9am, at the Ijede LCDA Secretariat Hall. Listed beneficiaries must bring a hard copy of their National Identification Number (NIN) slip.
Bayelsa has also announced collection schedules by LGA and community. Beneficiaries should confirm details through official state or local cash transfer offices and avoid relying on unverified lists.
The NCTO warns the public not to pay anyone to access government cash transfer support. For enquiries or grievances, contact 969 (for MTN users only).
