Femi Fani-Kayode has expressed gratitude to God and appreciation to Bola Ahmed Tinubu following his reported appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany.
In a statement shared publicly, the former aviation minister said he was thankful for the opportunity to serve the country in a diplomatic capacity, describing the appointment as a great honour. He specifically thanked President Tinubu, who also serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, for entrusting him with the responsibility.
Fani-Kayode stated that he felt deeply humbled by the confidence placed in him and pledged to approach the new role with dedication and a strong sense of duty to the nation.
He also prayed for divine guidance as he prepares to assume the diplomatic assignment in Germany, expressing hope that God would lead and equip him for the responsibilities ahead.
The former minister further offered prayers for Nigeria, asking for continued protection, blessings, and peace for the country. He reaffirmed his commitment to serving Nigeria and promoting the nation’s interests abroad as he begins the new diplomatic role.
