‎The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has reassured its staff and stakeholders of its unwavering commitment to professionalism, transparency and strict adherence to statutory regulations in all its employment and administrative processes.

‎In a statement issued by the Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Mr. Henry Agbebire, FAAN said its recruitment, placement and career progression procedures are guided by established regulations to ensure equity, competence and organisational efficiency.

‎“FAAN’s recruitment processes are built on due process, transparency and meritocracy. We will not deviate from frameworks that ensure fairness across all cadres,” Agbebire stated.

‎He disclosed that the Managing Director has authorised an internal review of some employment-related concerns to strengthen clarity and ensure uniform application of policies.

‎“The review is aimed at reinforcing confidence in our systems and improving existing structures where necessary,” he added.

‎Agbebire also dismissed claims that staff are compelled to suppress their qualifications during recruitment, stressing that all engagements are based on advertised positions and voluntary submissions of applicants.

‎On workplace misconduct, the spokesman said FAAN maintains zero tolerance for harassment, intimidation and abuse of office.

‎“Our internal mechanisms for reporting and investigation are active, confidential and strictly enforced to protect the dignity of every staff member,” he said.

‎FAAN reaffirmed its commitment to professionalism across all departments, including AVSEC and ARFFS, while appreciating staff dedication and cooperation.
