Nigerian social commentator Dr. Ezike has taken a swipe at controversial activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) following his recent fallout with his Chinese friend/associate, China Ross.
The drama began after VDM, known for his outspoken criticism of celebrities and influencers, publicly warned Nigerians against doing business with China Ross, hinting at a breach of trust between them.
Reacting to the situation, Dr. Ezike called out VDM on social media, questioning his repeated clashes and self-righteous attitude. He wrote:
“Everybody is bad, VDM who is really good in your calendar? Everything you said in that video had no proof. You like posting proof, so where is the proof for what you claimed?”
Adding context to VDM’s pattern of disputes, Dr. Ezike noted that his confrontations didn’t begin with China Ross.
In 2024, VDM had previously clashed with fashion designer Seyi Vodi. At the time, Vodi had bailed him out after his arrest but reportedly turned his back on VDM after advising him to tone down his habit of insulting people.
Now, the feud has shifted to China Ross, following a similar pattern of conflict and perceived betrayal.
Fans quickly joined the debate online. Some agreed with Dr. Ezike, describing VDM as “too confrontational,” while others defended the activist, claiming he “always speaks uncomfortable truths.”
VDM has yet to respond to Dr. Ezike’s post, but the incident has already fueled anticipation of another heated online clash, highlighting the trend of public disputes among Nigerian influencers and social commentators.
