Eid-el-Maulud: Nwoko prays for lasting blessings for Nigeria

Sen. Ned Nwoko (APC-Delta) on Tuesday prayed for strengthened faith and lasting blessings for Nigeria as Muslim faithful marked Eid-ul-Maulud, commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad.

This is contained in his felicitation message to Muslims across Nigeria, particularly in Delta, made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.

Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Reparations and Repatriation, also prayed for unity and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.

He noted that the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) reminded Muslim faithful of the enduring values of peace, compassion, justice, tolerance and service to humanity.

“As we mark Eid-el-Maulud, I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to the Muslim Ummah across Nigeria.

“The life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) remind us of the enduring values of peace, compassion, justice, tolerance and service to humanity.

“May this sacred occasion strengthen our faith, promote unity and peaceful coexistence, and bring lasting blessings to our nation. Eid Mubarak,” he said.(NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
