The Executive Director of Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre and Head of Transparency International Nigeria, Auwal Ibrahim Musa Rafsanjani, has extended Eid-el-Kabir greetings to Muslims in Nigeria and across the world, urging citizens to embrace peace, accountability, tolerance and national unity.
In his Eid message, Rafsanjani described the celebration as one rooted in sacrifice, obedience, compassion and shared humanity.
According to him, the occasion reaffirms enduring values of justice, accountability, peaceful coexistence and service to humanity.
He noted that Eid-el-Kabir also provides an opportunity for renewed commitment to national unity, peace and inclusive development in Nigeria.
“As we observe this occasion with family and loved ones, I encourage continued dedication to tolerance, integrity and collective responsibility in strengthening our society and democratic governance,” he stated.
Rafsanjani, who is also Chairman of Transition Monitoring Group, Board Chairman of Corporate Accountability and Public Participation Africa, and Chairman of Zero Corruption Coalition, urged Nigerians to sustain the values of integrity, peaceful coexistence and service to humanity beyond the festive period.
He further wished Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Kabir celebration, saying, “Barka da Sallah.”
