Drama at Lagos Airport as lady begs strangers to carry her hand luggage

A dramatic scene unfolded at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, when a female passenger attempted to persuade fellow travellers to help carry her extra hand luggage, only to be met with outright rejection.

Woman’s Request Sparks Awkward Moment

According to eyewitnesses, the woman approached a male passenger, pleading with him to assist her in carrying her hand luggage.

When asked why she could not handle it herself, she explained that airport officials had already taken her first hand luggage and refused to let her carry another.

The man, however, declined, stating that he already had his own hand luggage and could not manage two.

In response, the woman suggested he take “some of my own.” The man quickly rejected, replying: “I will never.”

The lady later turned to a female passenger for help, but her request was also ignored.

Authorities Warn Against Accepting Luggage

This incident comes amid repeated warnings from airport authorities, advising travellers never to accept or carry items belonging to strangers.

Officials caution that such items could contain prohibited substances, potentially making unsuspecting passengers accomplices in drug trafficking or smuggling activities.
