The legal drama between Dorit Kemsley and her estranged husband, PK Kemsley, continues with new allegations.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star has been butting heads with her ex-beau for months over their divorce and marital home. Now, the entertainer is calling out her estranged husband for attempting to make her homeless.
Dorit Kemsley and PK Kemsley tied the knot in 2015 and welcomed two children before their separation made waves in 2024. The reality TV star filed for divorce the following year, sparking an ongoing legal war.
Dorit, through her attorney Samantha Spector, filed new court documents denying her estranged husband’s claims about her lavish spending. The drama began in May when PK accused his ex of splurging on designer brands instead of covering the mortgage of their former marital home.
The entertainer denied these claims, arguing that when she separated from PK in 2024, he allegedly vowed to continue covering the mortgage of their marital home. She claimed he promised to cover the payments alongside other expenses instead of paying formal child support.
Dorit claimed she didn’t know PK had stopped covering the payments after he moved out in May 2024 until the foreclosure notices started coming in. The TV personality’s attorney, per the legal documents by TMZ, implored the court to step in and stop PK, noting the law was never:
“Intended to permit the sleight of hand that PK is weaponizing to render his wife and children homeless.”
PK Kemsley Accused Of Dodging Bills With ‘Financial Struggles’
Dorit’s lawyer continued piling allegations on PK, accusing him of painting a dire picture of financial constraints to avoid his responsibilities. The latter had asked the court to allow the sale of the marital home, citing money problems, which the legal rep disputed.
“His financial struggles are invoked only when he is asked to support his wife and dependent children,” Dorit’s attorney argued. The legal rep claimed the businessman’s attempts to sell the home were not “the product of financial necessity, but rather of PK’s own decision-making.”
The reality TV star’s lawyer backed these claims with PK’s alleged finances, countering his previous allegations of Dorit’s lavish spending habits. He reportedly earns $2 million a year and spent $756K in recent months, including $360K on travel, $55K on clothing from luxury brands, $75K on meals/dining, and more.
The Bravolebrity Wants Her Former Beau To Cover All Expenses
At the end of the day, Dorit’s legal filing implored the court to stop PK’s attempts to sell the marital home and make him honor his alleged vow to cover the mortgage payments. She also asked for $21K and $22K in monthly child support and spousal support, respectively, plus $347K in retroactive support payments.
The demands did not end there, as Dorit requested that her estranged husband be sanctioned $40K for his behavior in court. The filing comes months after PK claimed his ex was being unreasonable about their financial situation and refusing to sell their marital home.
The Blast covered the drama in May, reporting that PK alleged his estranged wife commented “over my dead body” when he asked her and their kids to move into his current home. The businessman opened his doors to them because their marital home in Encino, California, was on the verge of foreclosure.
In PK’s filing, he implored the court to allow the sale of the home before its foreclosure, noting the property had two mortgages totaling $6 million. He wanted the law to intervene because Dorit allegedly refused to negotiate or responded in a harassing, erratic, and deflective manner.
These claims followed PK’s revelation of the Bravolebrity’s alleged lavish spending habits. The Blast reported in May that the media personality claimed his estranged wife had spent over $1 million on various luxury items instead of contributing to their marital home’s mortgage.
He claimed his team discovered the massive sum while investigating their finances. Dorit was accused of splurging on multiple luxury brands amid their alleged financial woes, including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Hermès. Additionally, PK noted she spent money at Net-A-Porter, FWRD, and Moda Operandi.
Dorit Kemsley Denied The Splurging Accusations
After PK dropped his claims about his ex’s spending habits, The Blast shared that she cleared the air while promoting her new memoir, “Unburdened.” Dorit alleged that the allegations about her spending habits did not reflect her reality.
She denied spending “$1 million on clothing and travel,” but circled back to confess that she spent money on expensive designer brands. However, the TV personality argued that she could spend as much as she wanted because it was her money.
“It’s my money that I earned, that I worked for. Not his money,” Dorit stressed. She echoed similar sentiments in June while promoting her memoir, with The Blast noting the entertainer claimed the money she spent was not up for discussion because it was her earnings.
