A Nigerian married lady has sparked reactions online after sharing a CCTV video of her husband cooking and ensuring she and their child were well taken care of.
The video, which has since gained attention, captures the woman expressing excitement and gratitude over her husband’s actions, describing him as a caring and supportive partner.
Husband Takes Charge at Home
According to her, the day started with her husband waking her and their daughter up in the morning and serving them breakfast.
After eating, they went back to sleep, only to be woken again later in the day and asked to freshen up.
Curious, she revealed she checked what he was doing, only to find him in the kitchen preparing another meal.
Praises His Love and Care
The woman noted that since their marriage, she rarely had to enter the kitchen to cook because her husband handled most of the responsibilities.
She described him as a man who prioritizes her happiness, providing not just financially but emotionally and physically by reducing her stress at home.
In her words: “Guys, so this is 11:48 and my husband woke us up to go and shower… Mind you, he gave us breakfast… After eating, we went back to sleep… And this is 11:48, he woke us up that we should go and shower…
“…This is my husband in the kitchen. He’s cooking… I don’t know if it’s jollof rice or stew… You can see beans… plantain… I have not crossed that kitchen door this morning. Since I got married, I can count how many times I’ve entered the kitchen to cook.
“…So, there are good men out there. Anyone telling you there is no good, you don’t have to settle for less. That’s my man. I love this man… In one man, you find love, peace, protector, provider… He just wants you to be happy… Don’t stress yourself.
“…I keep thanking God every day… So what I’m saying is you guys should not settle for less… Anyone telling you manage him, change him—you are not Panepita… you don’t have to change any man.”
