‎Dembélé, Bonmatí shine at the best FIFA football awards 

France and Paris Saint-Germain winger Ousmane Dembélé and Barcelona midfielder Aitana Bonmatí were the headline winners at The Best FIFA Football Awards held Tuesday in Doha, Qatar.

‎Dembélé, 28, claimed the Men’s Best FIFA Player award after a remarkable season that also saw him lift the Ballon d’Or and help PSG secure their first-ever UEFA Champions League title.

‎ Grateful after the ceremony, he credited his teammates and reflected on a year of collective and individual success. The event took place on the eve of the Intercontinental Cup final between PSG and Flamengo.

‎On the women’s side, Aitana Bonmatí was named Best FIFA Women’s Player for the third consecutive year, matching her run of three straight Ballon d’Or wins. Despite personal brilliance, the Spaniard endured a mixed year, finishing runner-up in both the Champions League and European Championship finals.

‎Winners were determined by votes from fans, media, national team captains, and coaches.
