The High Court has ordered the remand of Mr Ifeanyi Ogbonna, popularly known as “Odogwu Asaba,” at the Ogwashi-Uku Maximum Correctional Centre as proceedings continue in the case involving the death of Favour.
The remand order was granted on Friday, September 4, 2026, following an application brought before the court.
Ogbonna’s remand comes amid ongoing investigations and legal proceedings into the circumstances surrounding Favour’s death.
The latest development follows the completion and release of the autopsy and toxicology test results conducted in connection with the investigation. The results have reportedly been made available to the police team handling the case.

According to the lawyer, the investigation report has now been prepared and forwarded for prosecution, paving the way for further legal proceedings in the matter.
With the court’s latest order, Ogbonna will remain in custody at the Ogwashi-Uku Maximum Correctional Centre pending further proceedings.
