Nigerian Gospel singer, Tim Godfrey, has come under scrutiny following the release of his new song featuring Afrobeats superstar, Oxlade.

The song, ‘Infinity, features a snippet of the song’s video directed by Ella Raaye.

Notably, Oxlade came to the spotlight in 2020 with his hit single ‘Away‘ and has since become one of Afrobeats’ most prominent voices.
He was involved in a controversy surrounding a leaked sex tape in February 2022.
The video, which featured him and a woman, was shared on social media without her consent, leading to public outrage and a lawsuit.
The woman, John Blessing, sued Oxlade for N20 million, claiming he recorded and leaked the video without her consent, violating her fundamental rights to dignity, privacy, and freedom from discrimination.
However, In January 2023, a Lagos High Court awarded Blessing N5 million in damages.
Oxlade was ordered to pay the damages in two installments of N2 million and N3 million, respectively.
