A Catholic priest has shared details of his last chat with late Nigerian army officer, Samson Haruna, amid condolences on his tragic passing.
It would be recalled that Samson Haruna tragically passed away on October 7, 2025, after being set ablaze by his wife, Rety, during a heated argument.
In a recent development, Rety has been arrested, but a recent report suggests she has been released from custody.
While details regarding the heated argument remain unclear, the tragic incident occurred in the couple’s apartment in Akwa Ibom.

In the chat, Samson Haruna expresses gratitude to the Catholic priest for his unwavering support toward him and his family.
He referred to the Catholic priest as his mentor, expressing gratitude and promising to never take his efforts for granted.
“Good afternoon my mentor sir. Thank you for everything and you have always done for me and my family mentor, sir. I will never take what you have done for me for granted sir. God bless you and your lovely family richly always in Jesus, name”,He stated in the chat.
