BREAKING: Trump Vows to Destroy Iran’s Missiles, Raze Missile Industry and Annihilate Navy

According to a report by Anadolu Agency on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, U.S. President Donald Trump has pledged to dismantle Iran’s missile infrastructure and neutralize what he described as imminent threats posed by Tehran, confirming that American forces have launched a broad military operation inside the country.

In a video message shared on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump said the objective of the operation is to protect American citizens and interests. “Our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime,” he stated. He added that the campaign would target Iran’s missile systems and related military assets.

“We have started a wide operation in Iran aimed at protecting the American people,” Trump said, signaling that further action could follow.

Israeli media outlet Channel 12 reported that the strikes were carried out jointly by the United States and Israel, targeting sites described as linked to the Iranian regime as well as key military positions. According to the report, senior Iranian leadership figures were also considered potential targets in the operation.

In Israel, sirens sounded across multiple cities as authorities declared a “special and immediate” state of emergency. The measures include suspending school activities, restricting public gatherings, and limiting workplace operations to essential sectors only.

The military escalation comes despite recent diplomatic efforts aimed at reviving talks over Iran’s nuclear program. Oman has been acting as a mediator in the negotiations. Its foreign minister, Badr Albusaidi, met with U.S. Vice President JD Vance just a day before the strikes. Following their meeting, Albusaidi expressed hope for progress, stating that peace remained within reach.

However, the strikes appear to have dramatically altered the diplomatic landscape.

Iranian news agency ISNA reported that the initial Israeli attacks resulted in casualties among members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), including operational personnel. Additional explosions were later reported in Qom, Isfahan, Kermanshah, and Lorestan, suggesting the operation extended beyond Tehran.

Channel 12 further indicated that Israel is preparing for several days of sustained joint military action, citing a security source.

In response, Ebrahim Azizi, head of Iran’s parliamentary National Security Committee, issued a stern warning on social media, saying Israel had embarked on a path whose consequences might spiral beyond control.See_More…
