Suspected Lakurawa terrorists on Sunday night attacked and allegedly set ablaze a police station at Illo town in the Bagodu Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
According to locals, the terrorists lunched the attack to free one of their own allegedly being detained at the police station in Illo town.
However, unconfirmed reports say the terrorists successfully freed the detainee before setting the police station on fire.
Meanwhile, there has been no report of casualties on both sides after the attack went unchallenged.
Kebbi State Police PRO, SP Bashir Usman, didn’t answer calls made to his line and didn’t respond to text of inquiry as of the time of filling this report.See_More…
