Terrorists on Monday struck again at Ilu-Abo in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State and abducted Mr. Joseph Aladesuyi, the Secretary of Okeluju Local Council Development Area(LCDA) in Akoko Northwest Local Government Area of Ondo State, and two other persons.
He was abducted by the terrorists on his farm, Justina Farms, near Akure Airport.
Consequently, parents rushed to all schools in the town and environs to withdraw their children in fear that the terrorists might invade schools.
The terrorists were said to have stormed the farm and shot the farm manager in the hand before abducting him at gunpoint.
His children, who were with him, said the terrorists were 10 in number and armed to the teeth.
This is coming few days after Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa claimed there had not been terror activity in the state, describing kidnap incidents in the state as isolated cases.
In a couple of months, many farmers are residents in Akure North Local Government Area of the state have been killed, while some were abducted by terrorists.See_More…
