The 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, it can be recalled, had been on a political journey that had seen him cover several distances across the country in less than a week.
However, his presence in Aba, the business hub of Abia State triggered massive public attention, as many sought to know the reasons behind his visit, given the mammoth crowd that gathered to welcome him.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, the former Anambra governor disclosed that he was in the state to honor the invitation of respected federal lawmaker, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe.
During his speech in Aba, according to the former governor, he informed the people that the city remained an integral part of the country, and can be used as the center for transforming the nation from consumption to production.
He equally expressed his gratitude to Governor Alex Otti, whom he believed had done an excellent work in the ancient ‘Enyimba City’.
