BREAKING: Olubadan Of Ibadanland Laid To Rest [PHOTO]
Naijaonpoint Nigeria reports that The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin, was laid to rest on Thursday following a solemn church service at the Cathedral of Saint Peter in Aremo, Ibadan.
During the service, Bishop Joseph Akinfenwa urged attendees to live impactful lives, reflecting the legacy of the late monarch.
The event attracted numerous dignitaries from across Oyo State, including Governor Seyi Makinde, Deputy Governor Bayo Lawal, former Deputy Governor Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, House of Representatives member Akin Alabi, government officials, and several traditional rulers.
The funeral service formed part of a series of events organised to honour Oba Olakulehin, who was widely celebrated for his leadership, wisdom, and significant contributions to the unity and development of Ibadanland.
