BREAKING: NNPCL Reduces Petrol Price In Abuja [SEE NEW PRICE]
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, has reduced petrol pump prices at its filling stations.
A market survey by DAILY POST on Sunday showed that NNPCL retail outlets in Gwarimpa, Kubwa and other parts of Abuja and its environs had adjusted their petrol prices to N1,405 per litre from N1,430 per litre.
However, NNPCL retail outlets along Kubwa Expressway, Air Junction, and Wuse Zones 4 and 5 retained their petrol price at N1,395 per litre.
This means that petrol prices at NNPCL retail outlets vary by N10 per litre across different locations.
Naijaonpoint Nigeria reports that MRS, Ranoil, AA Rano, Empire Energy and other filling stations in Abuja were dispensing petrol at between N1,395 and N1,430 per litre at the time of reporting.
Recall that the Dangote Refinery last week reduced its gantry fuel price by N25 per litre to N1,325.
TGM reports that the majority of filling stations are yet to reduce their petrol prices, as Nigerians continue to call for further reductions amid crude oil prices of $92 per barrel for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) and $104 per barrel for Brent crude.
