Kenneth Okonkwo, an ADC chieftain and lawyer, has accused Nafiu Bala Gombe, the former ADC state chairman, of being recruited by the APC to challenge the ADC’s leadership. He also referenced the Court of Appeal’s clarification, which confirmed that the lower court’s decision was just a procedural notice and not an actual ruling. Okonkwo questioned the grounds for appealing a decision that hadn’t yet been finalized. This controversy highlights the ongoing political tensions within the ADC, with the APC seemingly involved in attempts to destabilize the party’s leadership.
