Popular Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola, has described her husband, Kayode Salako, as the definition of peace. Naija News reports that Foluke made the remarks during her recent interview on the African A-List podcast, while discussing her marriage to Kayode.
Speaking about the freedom she enjoys in her marriage, the movie star said Kayode is unbothered about caging her or restricting her outings.
Foluke stated that she does not feel like a married person, adding that Kayode is her good friend and greatest cheerleader.
She said, “I don’t feel like I’m married. My husband is the definition of peace for me. If I tell Kayode now that I will be going to Canada tonight and will spend up to a year there, he will say bye-bye. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t love me; he just feels like he shouldn’t cage me.
“So I don’t feel like I’m married. He is my very good friend and my greatest cheerleader. When we fight, you would think that the marriage is going to end, but give us two hours, and everything will be settled.”
This latest interview comes two years after Kayode Salako confirmed his marriage to another woman, identified as Oluwafunke Oyegoke-Salako, while still married to Foluke.
Defending his decision to marry another woman, Kayode stated that he had been married to Foluke for 13 years without a biological child.
