Shehu Sani, a former federal lawmaker and renowned human rights activist has taken to his official X handle to voice his displeasure over the recent military action carried out by the United States in Iran. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that Iran was not a threat and the act of aggression was unnecessary.
It was no longer news that the recent military action taken against Iran by the United States generated mixed reactions from different quarters after the reports went viral across various social media platforms.
The attack, which led to the reported death of supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was widely condemned as many believed that the attack was unprovoked, and criticized president Trump for trying to exert dominance.
In light of this, Senator Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna central senatorial district lawmaker and renowned human rights activist in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle, made a startling comment regarding the conflict.
According to his statements, he pointed out that Iran does not pose a single threat to the United States, neither do they pose an danger, hence, the act of aggression was unnecessary.
Shehu Sani, widely respected for his advocacy for peace, also disclosed that engaging in conflicts for the sole purpose of exerting military dominance might set the world on a dangerous path.
