World-famous boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a road accident today in Makun, Ogun State.
Eyewitnesses report that the incident occurred along the busy Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
The vehicle carrying Joshua, a Lexus SUV with the registration number KRD 850 HN, reportedly collided with a stationary lorry, with the circumstances still under investigation.
Our reporter, who was part of the rescue mission, contacted Elanzanews and confirmed that Joshua sustained minor injuries, while two individuals tragically lost their lives at the scene.
Adeniyi Orojo noted that the accident occurred just before Danco Filling Station.
Fans have taken to social media to express their concern, as local authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.

Efforts to contact the TRACE Commandant, Akinbiyi Babatunde, for more information about the incident have been unsuccessful, as calls to his number did not go through.
