Renowned journalist and public relations consultant, Bolanle Olatunde, will start writing a weekly column for Sundiata Post.
Called ‘Heartquake’, the column will debut on Friday, 21st November 2025. It will dwell on relationship and things of the heart.
Bolanle has had a distinguished career in the media, transversing journalism, advertising and public relations.
Upon graduation from the University of Ilorin in 1988, Bolanle had her NYSC in the old Oyo State. Armed with a postgraduate diploma from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Lagos, she ventured into active journalism in 1994 and joined TELL Communications Limited, publishers of TELL and Dateline magazines. She later solidified her career in Advertising, Sales/Marketing as well as Public Relations before venturing into Public Service. After TELL and Dateline magazines, she worked with CentreSpreadFCB Advertising, POLO Luxury goods company as well as the automobile giant, Toyota Nigeria, as pioneer Head of Public Relations as well as Deputy Head of Marketing/Dealer Development Division.
She is member and former Vice-Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (Lagos State Chapter); member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and the National Marketing Institute of Nigeria.
She possesses a masters degree in public administration and at the moment a doctoral student at the University of Abuja.
She had presented programmes on TV and Radio and written columns for TheWeek Magazine, Saturday Punch and PRBrandsJournal. Her relationship column in The Saturday Tribune was punchy and down to earth, drawing reactions and commendations from far and near.
Bolanle is a member of the Sundiata Post Editorial Advisory Board.
