Actor and singer Bobby Maris, husband to Nollywood star Uche Ogbodo, has stirred reactions online after encouraging women to consider cosmetic surgeries if they can afford it.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Bobby boldly told women there’s nothing wrong with body enhancements if it boosts their confidence.
According to him, anyone with the means should feel free to “fix” their body without fear or shame.
In the clip, he said:
“If you know you can afford a BBL, tummy tuck, liposuction, go and do it, especially after having kids. Because if you don’t, your husband might eventually leave you for a baddie. If you have money, fix your body oo. No fear. You only live once.”
This statement comes shortly after his wife, Uche Ogbodo, shared a video asking fans and family to pray for her as she undergoes another Lipo 360 surgery.
While many praised him for allowing his wife do cosmetic surgery, rather than holding her back, others, criticized him, arguing that it could pressure women into undergoing risky procedures.
Regardless of the debate, one thing is clear: Bobby Maris is unapologetically supportive of his wife’s choices and is boldly encouraging others to embrace body enhancements if it makes them confident.
