Beneficiaries Laud Mustapha’s Visionary Scholarship Initiative

The Turaki Young Scholars Forum, a group of 200 beneficiaries of Senator Saliu Mustapha’s fully funded scholarship programme, has commended the lawmaker for what they described as his “visionary leadership and unmatched generosity” in promoting education in Kwara Central.

In a statement issued, the beneficiaries said the initiative has not only eased the financial burden of tuition but also revived their hopes and aspirations. They noted that the scheme represents more than financial aid, describing it as an investment in the future of Kwara youths.

“Through his scholarship scheme, he has lifted the heavy burden of tuition off our shoulders and restored our dreams,” the group said. “It is a deliberate empowerment that affirms the Senator’s belief that the true wealth of any society lies in the quality of its human capital.”

The scholars also pledged to serve as ambassadors of Mustapha’s vision by upholding academic excellence, civic responsibility, and commitment to education as a tool for transformation.

They hailed the Senator, who is the Turaki of Ilorin Emirate, as a leader whose legacy in education “stands tall and resounding,” adding that his scholarship programme offers young people a ladder to climb beyond limitations.
